You may notice that the total revenue or number of orders shown for a channel on the Ad Manager or Realtime dashboard may not match what you see on the Marketing Overview or Channel Overview dashboard.
Why it happens
Dashboards like the Marketing Overview show the full total for a channel - every conversion Tracify attributed to it. But when you drill into a channel and look at its individual campaigns (or ad sets, or ads), Tracify can only show conversions that are tied to a specific campaign. Sometimes Tracify knows a conversion came from a particular channel but doesn't know the specific campaign it belongs to. Those conversions still count toward the channel's overall total, but they won't appear in the campaign list because there's no campaign to file them under.
Example
Suppose Tracify attributes 50 orders worth €10,000 in revenue to your Email channel. Of those, 40 orders came through identifiable campaigns (e.g. "Summer Sale," "Welcome Flow"), but 10 orders were attributed to Email without a specific campaign name attached.
On your Marketing Overview dashboard, you'll see the full €10,000 and 50 orders for Email. But when you view the Email channel in the Realtime Dashboard and look at the list of campaigns, you'll only see €8,000 and 40 orders - because those are the conversions that belong to a named campaign. The remaining €2,000 and 10 orders are still attributed to Email - they just don't appear in the list because there's no campaign to place them in.
What you can do
If you see the notice "Totals displayed here for [Channel] don't match your overview dashboards…", this is the reason. The difference between the two totals represents conversions that belong to the channel but couldn't be placed under a specific campaign (or ad set, or ad). No data has been lost - those conversions are still counted on your overview dashboards.
You can minimize this by ensuring that your URL tracking parameters are set up to pass as many dimensions (campaign, ad set, ad id, etc) as possible.
