What are Creative Segments?

Creative Segments combine Creatives in groups. You can configure the conditions for these groups yourself. Hereby you can compare segments with each other e.g. how UGC content performs against product images.

How do I create a Creative Segment?

You can add and select Creative Segments via the dropdown menu which says "All Creatives" in the Comparison view in your Creative Dashboard via a click on "Add Creative Segment". Each segment that you create is available to your user within the organisation that you create it in.

Type in a Segment Name and choose the conditions for this Segment.

You have to define at least one condition for each segment.

Each condition consists of three components:

  1. The metric / attribute (e.g. Ad Name, Orders)

  2. The operator (e.g. Contains, Greater than)

  3. The value (e.g. the text or number which should be checked against)

You can set conditions via the dropdown menu for

  • Campaign Name

  • Adset / Ad Group Name

  • Ad Name

  • Spent

  • Revenue

  • Orders

  • Impressions

For Campaign Name, Ad Group Name and Ad Name you have to choose whether these should contain or not contain a specific value (e.g. Ad Name which contains "Video" as a value). For Spent, Revenue, Orders and Impressions you have to choose if these should be greater than or lower than the specified value (e.g. Orders greater than 25).

You can add multiple conditions for your segment by clicking AND or OR. When you are done, click Create Segment.

How do I use Creative Segments?

When you select your Creative Segment from the dropdown menu, all Creatives that meet your chosen conditions for the segment will be shown.

When you select All Segments, you can compare your Segments against each other over your chosen time frame with your chosen metric(s). Hereby, the results of all creatives that fall into this segment are calculated. The data is also displayed in the graph overview.
