Understanding Presets in Tracify

Presets are predefined configurations that control how your marketing attribution data is calculated and displayed in your reports. Instead of adjusting settings every time you run a report, you can simply select a preset from the dropdown menu and your data will be calculated according to those saved settings.

Presets also enable fast report load times. Because each preset has fixed settings, Tracify precalculates your attribution data in advance. This means your reports load quickly, even when you're working with large amounts of data.

What's included in a preset?

Each preset is made up of four settings:

  • Attribution model - How credit is distributed across touchpoints (First Click, Last Click, U-Shaped, Linear, or AI)

  • Attribution window - How far back in time to look for touchpoints (1, 2, 7, 14, 28, 60, 90 days, or unlimited)

  • Report time - Whether conversions are reported on the date the conversion happened, or the date the ad was clicked

  • Touchpoints - Which channels (like Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.) are included in the attribution calculation

Your default presets

Every Tracify account comes with two presets ready to use:

These two presets cover the most common reporting needs, but you can request additional presets if you need different configurations.

Requesting a new preset

Need a custom preset? Reach out to our Customer Support team via email or chat. Let us know what settings you'd like, and we'll set it up for you at no extra cost.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Processing time - New presets typically take 1-2 days to become available, though accounts with very high event volumes may take a bit longer. This is because we need to reprocess your historical data with the new settings.

  • No downtime - You can continue using your existing presets while the new one is being processed.

  • You'll be notified - Our team will let you know when your new preset is ready. It will automatically appear in your preset dropdown.

  • Preset limit - Each account can have up to 15 presets.

Updating or removing a preset

Presets can't be edited directly. If you need to change the settings on an existing preset, just contact Customer Support - we'll delete the old one and create a new one with your updated settings. You can also request to have any preset removed at any time.
